Birchip is located on the southern edge of the Mallee in North West Victoria. Birchip is approximately 320 km from Melbourne. The population of Birchip township is approximately 900 with an area population of 1200. Birchip is home to the famous 'Mallee Bull'. Our school is a 13 year, Prep to Year 12 school.
We are a small school with approximately 212 students with 44 teachers and support staff. We have extensive facilities including sporting facilities, gymnasium, a joint use school-community library, Trade Training Centres for Hospitality & Engineering and a 1:1 notebook program for students.
'Habits of Mind' is integrated into our rich and dynamic curriculum whilst we work towards becoming a Mindful School.
